Ordering & shipping
How long does shipping take?
Apparel & mugs are printed to order in the USA: 2–5 business days to make, then 2–5 business days in transit. Racks, mats, bags and jewelry ship from our partner warehouses: 2–5 business days if US-stocked, 7–15 business days if shipping from overseas. Your order confirmation and shipping email will tell you which applies, and every order gets a tracking number.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet — US addresses only for now (all 50 states, no PO box restrictions).
Is shipping free?
US shipping is free on orders over $75. Under that, it's a flat $6.95.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us within 12 hours of ordering and we'll do our best. Printed-to-order items go into production quickly, so after that window we may not be able to stop them.
Fit & compatibility
Will your racks fit my set?
Yes — our racks are sized for standard American mahjong tiles (the common 1.2" and 1.3" sizes). They are not intended for oversized "jumbo" tiles; check your tile width if you're not sure.
American vs. Chinese sets — what's the difference?
American mahjong uses 166 tiles, including 8 jokers, and is played with the National Mah Jongg League's annual card. Chinese and other styles use 136–144 tiles, no jokers and no card. Everything at Parlor & Tile is designed around the American game unless a listing says otherwise.
Do you sell the card?
No. The official card is sold only by the National Mah Jongg League at nationalmahjonggleague.org. We sell holders that fit it.
What size are your mats?
Our standard mat is 32" square — it fits the 32"–35" folding card tables most groups play on.
Returns & gifts
What's your return policy?
Unused accessories (racks, mats, bags, jewelry, hosting items) can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Printed-to-order apparel and mugs are made just for you, so they're final sale unless they arrive damaged or misprinted — in which case we replace them free, no return required. Something arrived damaged.
Send a photo to shop@timothykasper.net within 7 days and we'll send a replacement or refund. No need to ship anything back.
Can you include a gift note?
Yes. Add it in the order notes at checkout. Jewelry always ships boxed; prices never appear on packing slips.

No. Parlor & Tile is an independent, US-based company with no affiliation to the NMJL or any league.
